Can a duo run on the Free plan?
Yes. One of you owns the setlist. The other joins it from an invite link with a free account, and a setlist shared with you never counts toward your own limit. The Free plan gives the owner 1 active setlist of up to 40 songs, with Live Mode and band sync included.
So a singer and a guitarist read from two devices and pay nothing, as long as a single editable setlist is enough for your gigs. The devices can be any mix of Android phones, iPhones, tablets and laptops, because StageFloww runs in the browser.
When the owner moves to the next song, the other screen moves too. Band sync needs internet on both devices.
How does a request reach you mid-set?
Print a table tent or a poster with your QR code, or show the code on a screen. Guests enter a name and a phone number. They need no app and no account. The request appears on the screen you are already reading from, and you answer it between songs.
| The request is for | What you do | Status on the guest's phone |
|---|---|---|
| A song already in tonight's set | Accept it. To play it sooner, open the setlist drawer and tap Play next | Up Next |
| A song you both know but did not plan | Add it to tonight's set. Your partner's screen goes to it when you advance | Up Next |
| A song you half know | Add it only if you can get the lyrics up in time. Search needs a connection, and not every song has lyrics available | Up Next or Declined |
| A song you do not play | Decline it | Declined |
Requests are not anonymous. You see the name the guest typed, which lets you say who asked. Setup is on the page about song requests by QR code.
What works outside India?
Most of it. The money from the room is the exception.
| In India | In every other country | |
|---|---|---|
| Free song requests by QR code | Yes | Yes |
| Tips and paid requests | Yes. Paid out to an Indian UPI ID or bank account | No. Switched off by default, with no payout route |

| Pro price | ₹499 a month or ₹3,999 a year | US$79.99 a year in the United States, £64.99 in the UK, €79.99 in euro countries, A$119.99 in Australia. Other countries pay in US dollars, US$14.99 to US$79.99 a year |
| How you pay for Pro | UPI, card or netbanking | Card, charged in your region's currency |

Tips and paid requests pay out in India only. Outside India you can still take free song requests. If cash from the room matters to your night in Manchester, Austin or Manila, keep your own tip jar or payment link beside the request code. StageFloww takes the requests, and the money goes through whatever you already use.
Outside India StageFloww is not the cheapest setlist app, and most duos will not need Pro. The pricing page shows when you would.
Can a busker use it?
For requests, yes, anywhere your phone has mobile data. Print the QR poster and prop it in your case. For cashless payments from passers-by, only in India.
On the street there is no venue Wi-Fi to fall back on. Requests, search and sync all need a connection. Lyrics you have already opened on that device stay readable without a signal. Before the gig, open each song in the setlist once on the device you will use, while you are online.
How do you plan the night?
Build the set at home, where search and lyric fetching have a connection. The set length calculator works out how many songs two sets and a break need, and how many spares to carry for requests. The guide to taking song requests at a gig covers the rules to agree with your partner before the first set. The setup steps for the Free plan are on the page for solo singers.
Good fit
- Duos and solo acts in pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes
- Pairs whose gigs fit a single editable setlist on the Free plan
- Acts in any country that want requests without paper slips
- Pairs on different kinds of phone
Not the right tool
- Acts outside India that need cashless tips from the same QR code
- Acts that sing to backing tracks or loops run from the setlist tool
- Rooms and pitches with no mobile signal or Wi-Fi
- Acts that want anonymous requests
