Is StageFloww right for your kind of act?

StageFloww, the setlist and stage-lyrics app, fits acts in any country that sing other people's songs from a screen: cover and wedding bands, solo singers and duos, and singers who read Hindi, Tamil or Korean lyrics in English letters. It does not show sheet music or link to DJ software, and tips pay out in India only.

Which acts does it fit?

It runs in the browser on Android phones, iPhones, tablets and laptops, in any country, with nothing to install from a store. The menus are in English.

Cover bands: good fit. The running order sits on each member's phone and follows the leader from song to song.

Wedding and function bands: good fit. You label the parts of the day and move songs when the schedule slips. It is not a contract or calendar tool.

Bollywood bands: the strongest fit. Search finds a film song from a rough spelling, and Hindi and Punjabi lyrics can be shown in English letters.

Solo singers: good fit, often on the Free plan. A phone or tablet shows your lyrics and scrolls them for you.

Acoustic duos and solo acts taking requests: good fit. Two devices share a setlist on the Free plan, and guests request songs by QR code in every country.

Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam singers: good fit when your lyrics are in a script the app converts by rule.

K-pop cover singers: good fit for Korean. Hangul lyrics you paste are shown romanized by fixed rules. Japanese lines with kanji are less reliable.

Worship teams: partial fit. It suits a small team that sings in an Indian language and reads English letters. It does not schedule volunteers.

Band leaders. You hold the account that pays, and members join free. See the band sync page.

Can a DJ use it?

Partly. Free song requests by QR code work in every country. Guests enter a name and a phone number. They need no app and no account. There is no DJ mode, and nothing links to Serato, rekordbox or a streaming library, so a request does not reach your decks. Tips and paid requests pay out in India only. Outside India you can still take free song requests.

Who is it probably not for?

Good fit

  • Acts that sing covers and read lyrics from a phone or tablet
  • Bands whose members carry a mix of Android phones and iPhones
  • Singers whose lyrics are in Hindi, Tamil, Korean or another script converted by rule
  • Performers who want song requests on the same screen as the setlist

Not the right tool

  • Sheet-music readers. There is no PDF viewer and no chart annotation.
  • Karaoke hosts. There is no singer queue or rotation.
  • Churches that need volunteer scheduling or licence reporting.
  • Buskers outside India whose main need is a cashless tip jar.
  • Venues that want jukebox control of the music in the room.
  • Bands that run MIDI or backing tracks from their setlist tool.
