Which list fits your gig?
Each page names real songs with the artist of a well-known recording and the year, grouped by the moment in the gig, and ends with a running order you can change. The notes on where a song fits are our suggestions. Nothing here is a ranking, and no page lists keys or tempos, because bands change both.
Weddings. Start with first dance songs for a live band, sorted by feel, then the wedding dance floor list for the two dance sets. A solo act or duo booked for the service wants the acoustic ceremony songs, laid out from arrival to exit.
Indian weddings and stage shows. The Bollywood wedding list goes ceremony by ceremony. The sangeet dance songs are sorted by who performs, the Punjabi wedding songs by folk, bhangra and couple songs, and the Tamil stage programme list by singing voice.
Pubs, bars and restaurants. The pub singalong list covers three sets, the acoustic covers list is sorted by how closely the room listens, and the 80s and 90s list is for a retro night.
Company events and December. See the corporate party songs, ordered around the organiser's programme, and the Christmas and New Year's Eve songs to slot into your usual set.
How were the songs checked?
Titles, artists and years were checked against MusicBrainz or Wikipedia when each page was written. A song we could not confirm was left out. If you spot a mistake, write to support@stagefloww.com.
