Build and reorder a setlist on your phone

StageFloww, the setlist and stage-lyrics app, builds a running order you drag into place on a phone, with key, BPM and length for each song and the set's total minutes at the top. The Free plan covers 1 active setlist of up to 40 songs.

How do you build and reorder a setlist on your phone?

  1. Create the setlist. Give it a name, then add the gig date, the gig type and the venue.
  2. Add songs. Use song search with a title, a film name or part of a lyric, or use Manual add and type the title and artist yourself.
  3. Drag into order. Press a song's handle and drag it up or down. The numbers update as you go.
  4. Fill in each song. Tap a song to set its key, tempo, length, notes and labels.
  5. Go live. Open the set in Live Mode to read it on stage.

The same builder runs on a tablet or a laptop, where the running order and the song details sit side by side.

Setlists that a band leader shares with you never count toward your limit. Pro removes both caps; the pricing page has the plan table. For what else is and is not included, see the full feature list.

How is the set's total time worked out?

The header of each setlist shows the song count and the total minutes. The rule is simple and worth knowing:

  • Each song's duration is added up and the result is rounded to whole minutes.
  • A song with no duration entered counts as 3:30.
  • Nothing is added for gaps between songs, talking or breaks.

So a set full of songs with no lengths entered shows an estimate, not a measurement. Enter real durations for the long ones, and medleys especially. To plan a whole evening with breaks and spare songs, use the set length calculator.

What does the assistant chat do?

It edits the setlist when you tell it to in plain words. You can ask it to add, remove, move or swap songs, set keys and tempos, or link songs into a mashup. It asks for confirmation before a destructive change, such as removing songs.

Check its work as you would check a bandmate's: read the running order back before the gig.

How does a wedding or multi-set gig fit in a single list?

Use labels and mashups. Label the songs that open and close each part of the night, link the songs you always play back to back, and filter by label when someone asks what comes after dinner. StageFloww for wedding bands walks through a full day this way.

How do you get the setlist to the band?

Share it by invite link with View or Edit access, by QR code, or on WhatsApp as a message with the first few songs, their keys and a link to the full set. A person who receives it can copy it into their own account. On the night, band sync moves each member's screen when the leader advances, and Live Mode puts the lyrics on screen.

Questions and answers

Does the builder show how long my set is?

Yes. The setlist builder shows the set's total minutes as you add and reorder songs. A song with no duration entered is counted as 3:30, so enter real lengths for songs that run much longer or shorter. To plan a night before you have a song list, use the set length calculator.

What does the Free plan include?

The Free plan gives you 1 active setlist with up to 40 songs, and includes Live Mode, band sync, song search and English-letter lyrics. Extra setlists you own open view-only, and Live Mode still works on them. Setlists a band leader shares with you never count toward the limit.

How do I share a setlist with my band?

There are three routes. Send an invite link with View or Edit access; send a WhatsApp message with the setlist name, the date, the first few songs with their keys and a link to the full set; or show a QR code for people to scan. Someone who receives an invite can also copy the setlist into their own account for their own gig.

Can I import setlists from OnSong, a PDF or a spreadsheet?

No. StageFloww does not import or export setlist files, so there is no route in from OnSong, a PDF, a CSV or ChordPro files, and it does not import Spotify playlists. You can type several song names at once, one per line when you build your first setlist or separated by commas in the builder search, and StageFloww looks them up. You can also paste lyrics and ChordPro text into a song.
